A Chinese national company is interested in developing a
30,000 acre high tech park that’ll be used for industry,
retail centers and homes south of the Boise Airport .
Already the cash is pouring in Idaho by the buckets.
A large, China based company, Hoku Materials,
Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hoku Corporation HOKU,
has recently built a very expensive ($400 million)
plant that makes poly-silicon for solar panel
production in Pocatello, Idaho.
Chinese real estate interests are very serious about places
like Milan, Michigan and Boise, Idaho for several key reasons.
Milan is on the radar because of it’s proximity to Detroit,
the auto industry and the other is would you have guessed…
It’s just a short drive from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,

The deal has not been finalized yet, the plan is to have,
a 415-unit housing complex, surrounded by beautiful
artificial lakes, luxurious 6,000 sq ft homes, complete
with a cultural center.
The intent is that it is to be marketed to Chinese business
people who want to start businesses’ in the USA.
